The first weekend in June is Connecticut Trails Day, part of a nationally coordinated day celebrating all muscle-powered trail activities! Connecticut, though small in size, has the most National Trail Day events in the United States. Join Weantinoge on a hike to the highest point in New Milford, Bear Hill. Join Weantinoge, and noted local Audubon birder Angela Dimmitt, for an early morning bird walk through Weantinoge’s 220-acre Smyrski Farm, home to 65 species of birds (and counting).
